Jon Crocker is a Wigan-based creative whose work spans visual art, graphic design, fictional worlds, storytelling, film history, cultural commentary and satire. His projects include Crimea Street Films, an entirely imagined British film studio with its own films, actors, directors, posters and archives; Midnight Mohair, a visual celebration of Mod culture and Northern Soul; and Costa del Wigan, an irreverent reinvention of his adopted hometown as a glamorous tourist destination.Across these and other collections, Jon combines original concepts, distinctive imagery, invented characters and imaginative narratives, often blurring the boundaries between fact, fiction and affectionate absurdity.
